Reducer is a lot of national economy in the field of mechanical transmission device, industry involving product categories include all kinds of gear reducer, planetary gear reducer, worm reducer, also includes a variety of special transmission device, such as growth device, speed regulating device, and including flexible transmission device, all kinds of compound gear, etc. Products and services involve metallurgy, non-ferrous metals, coal, building materials, ships, water conservancy, electric power, construction machinery and petrochemical industries.

1. Leakage occurs
Due to the loosening of parts, vibration and the influence of heat reducer, reducer sealing surface and pipe joints, leakage phenomenon will appear; Some casting defects are difficult to be found during assembly and debugging, but due to the vibration and impact in the process of operation, such defects are exposed, showing as oil leakage (seepage). Therefore, the run-in period will occasionally appear leakage.

2. Loose
New processing and assembly of parts, there is a deviation in geometric shape and size, in the early use, due to the impact, vibration and other alternating load, as well as the influence of heat, deformation and other factors, coupled with wear and other reasons, easy to make the original fastening parts loose.

3. There are many operating errors
Because of the structure of the reducer, the performance of the understanding is not enough (especially the new operator), easy to cause failures due to operational errors, and even cause mechanical accidents and safety accidents.

4. Poor lubrication
Because the fit clearance of the newly assembled parts is small, and because of assembly and other reasons, the lubricating oil (grease) is not easy to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface to prevent wear. Thus reduce the lubrication efficiency, resulting in early abnormal wear parts. If it is serious, it will cause the scratch or bite on the friction surface of the precision match, which will lead to the occurrence of the fault.

5, wear speed is fast
Due to the influence of processing, assembly and commissioning of new reducer parts, the contact area of mating surface is smaller and the allowable torque is larger. Reducer in the process of operation, parts of the surface of the concave and convex parts of mutual friction, grinding down the metal debris, and as abrasive, continue to participate in the friction, more accelerated parts with the surface of the wear.

Therefore, the running-in period is easy to cause parts (especially with the surface) wear, wear speed is too fast. At this time, if overload operation, it may lead to parts damage, produce early failure.
